I know that ignorant murderous bigots have tried to disrupt the 50th Nigerian independence celebrations, but today at work I wished all my Nigerian friends and colleagues well on this special day.
This of course immediately turned into a spirited discussion between interested parties about the pros and cons of modern day life in Nigeria!
But I think everyone is really proud of what Nigeria has achieved against all the odds and also its limitless future potential.
